During the international scientific conference "100 years of nursing in Poland. Theory and practice of nursing XXI century ", in the morning sessions on the 3rd June, the "RN4CAST Stakeholders Meeting" is organized. This meeting will provide a presentation of preliminary findings of the RN4CAST Project on which international and Polish stakeholders are invited. We expect about 500 participants to attend this meeting.

The RN4CAST is a three year project funded under the European Commission's Seventh Framework Program FP7-HEALTH-2007-B. The research initiative is designed to link workforce planning and forecasting models in nursing with nurse and patient outcomes in 12 European countries: Belgium, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, the UK and Norway. Also three countries outside Europe - Botswana, China and South Africa - are involved in the study, enabling results to be set in an international perspective.
